VLC media player is a portable, free and open source streaming media server. It supports many formats of audio and video. VLC is also available for windows, linux, mac, etc. It saves the cut video to user/video folder.
Here is the brief description of How to use VLC as a video cutter
1. First open the video you want to cut
2. Go to View tab
3. Click on Advanced Controls
4. Click on record button
5. Make it play upto where you want to cut the video
6. Then again click the record, your video is now cut
7. Open video folder from user folder
8. Open your file
